The only requirements for Author display below posts are:
– Your blog must have more than one author.
– All authors must have filled in profile bio.
– All authors must have at least ONE post assigned to them.Thank you for your recommendations we will look into these for sure.

The Current version display was not updated somehow we will get it fixed. You don’t have to worry though, you have got 1.3. To be sure check inside the style.css or in the WordPress theme details page in the WordPress -> Themes.
