Every image in the body of the website comes under body tag, there is no way around it.
You can use a different recent posts widget without thumbnail.
Thank you for your suggestion, we will look into whatsapp and include it in one of the upcoming versions. But, this is not high priority as you can use free plugins for this already.
Instagram doesn’t allow sharing, only linking to page which can be done via top social buttons.
The image issues on your site is due to webp conversion/plugins as it alters the HTML and theme defined functions are not applied.

It may require custom HTML widget and it will work in footer widgets only and not via customizer -> footer area that is for simple HTML only.

– Make sure all pages have featured images set, so that the thumbnail in the sidebar doesn’t have default blue image, it is the one that doesn’t have height and width and causing the warning. We will include its height and width in the next version release.
Images should be bigger than 658 x 300 px otherwise theme won’t be able to generate proper images for slider, thumbnails etc causing blank space issue.

Currently you have two options:
– Do not use featured image on that page and then use bigger images directly from gallery
– Use “No Title Full Width” page template and use bigger images directly from gallery, manually write title below the image.
Only difference is you won’t be able put full width images above title in the first option but after page title only.
