I deleted all my images, compressed and uploaded them again and my speeds are now 90 and 92 depending on pages!
PLipscombParticipantOK thanks for your input. I will contact you. I will try deleting all images, compressing and re-installing.
PLipscombParticipantOk this is what I did….1) deactivated all plugins except for Caching. Cached and deactivated. I then check my speed with not change. 2) installed Smush it. I had used Smush it before on this site, but ran it anyway. All photos read: already smushed.
I know this them get great speed. I am using the same plugins on a second site using Iconic One Pro and I get speeds of 90 -91, so I can’t figure out what is wrong. Any other suggestions? Do you see anything I might have done wrong.
PLipscombParticipantThanks so much! That fixed the issue.
PLipscombParticipantI fixed the problem, is was a plugin. I had to reinstall the theme after deleting the plugin
PLipscombParticipantI deactivate all my plugins and the site views perfect in internet explorer. Now I have to reactivate to find the culprit! Thanks
PLipscombParticipantI want to thank everyone involved in working to continue to improve Iconic One Pro!
Thanks for the upgrade!
PLipscombParticipantI tries the custom.css, but it did not add additional space between the bottom of the ad and the top of the social media bar.
PLipscombParticipantThank you keymaster, It worked fine!
PLipscombParticipantBy placing the ad on line 72 in content.php the ads showed up fine on pages and posts. The problem is, in categories and archives, this placement produces an add after every post, ending up with more the 3 ads allowed by Google. How can I keep the ad above the fold on the bottom and avoid the multiple ads in categories and achieves? Thank you
