    Hello,

I’m using wordpress SEO by Yoast. Google isn’t picking up my meta description. A read a few places that it could have something to do with the theme I’m using. Can anyone help with this?

Your meta description is setup correctly already, Google will index it sooner or later, you don’t have to worry about it.

    You can verify it yourself:

View your web page source (ctrl+U in Firefox) and find (ctrl+F)

    meta name="description"

if it’s there then it’s working fine.

    Hi,
I have a similar issue, the SEO analyzer reports: “The description is missing in the head section of the page.” I too am using Yoast SEO plugin and the page is optimized.
