    Hi Iconic’s support,
I am confused about the HTML-Stripping in archive-pages:
    – Excerpts are correctly displayed with any HTML-tag
    – the post content is not: Even line feeds don’t show
Where and how can I change this – best practice: In my child theme?

    Your support is much appreciated!
    Best regards
    Reg

Thank you for prompt reply, Keymaster :))
but your answer doesn’t fix it:
HTML is still being stripped from the post’s content shown in archives: no line feeds, no links or text-formatting is displayed – and that’s what I need, you see.
When I put the post’s content in the excerpt everything is displayed correctly.

But I want the content to show with HTML-markup in archive, you see?
So where & how do I declare this: like apply or remove some filter which causes HTML-stripping?

Your support is much appreciated 🙂
    Cheers Reg

If you have modified the content.php as per the above guide then it will work just fine, just make sure you have also emptied the browser cache.

If it still doesn’t work then send in your site URL to [email protected] along with login details and links where the issue is present, we will check it for you.

Wow: almost instant reply – fantastic!
I found out by playing around and removing all archive listings from line 50, i.e. category, tag, archive. That did it.
Thank you so much, Keymaster 🙂
    Have a nice weekend! Reg
