    Using iconic one pro 1.2 theme,

    Not so much a problem on this, I’m just trying to understand and be aware of any external references/dependencies the theme uses.

    I can see the obvious gravatar link for user avatars.

    I can see a call to google for a font api, what’s the used for ?

    Are there any other external references in the theme, and their uses.

    Google font API call loads the Ubuntu font.

    It’s line 99 in functions.php

    No other external dependencies are used.

    what is the ubuntu font used for ?

    It is a font family, used for text (article body, headlines, all text).
