Submenu hidden by Slider Plugin

On my site the submenus are hidden by the top slider plugin (Pointelle slider). I’ve seen another plug (http://wordpress.org/support/topic/plugin-meteor-slides-drop-menu-dissen-behind-slide) use a css fix but can’t figure out if this goes on my iconic css. Is there a way to get submenus on top of slider?

I was able to fix this by adding this to the pointelle slider custom css.

.pointelle_slider {z-index:0 !important;}
