Slider is cropping some of the pictures

Hey there. I use the nice slider on the homepage of my blog. Some of the pictures in the slider somehow are cropped on the top an bottom edge of the picture.
I don’t know why this happens and how to avoid this.
When I open the article the image which was cropped in the slider looks just normal without any cropping.

How can I avoid that?
