Author Page options

Hi there,

Thanks for 2.9.9.4, waiting to see what 3.0 brings to the table 🙂

A question:

When I click on the author of any article I get an author box looking like this:

But in the “About me” page I add the full width with author the author box is at the bottom of the page and doesn’t look that good.Example:

Is there any way in the about me page to include sidebars and at the same time show the author like in the first picture with the ability to write text underneath?

Edit: I made another testing page (Who is PP?) with a custom link (Link is: http://www.padpoet.com/author/padpoet/) so ideally I would like this layout of the author page but without the author archives underneath so I can write some text like in the “who is padpoet” page above.

It could be done with a new page template, we will add this one in the next release.

Thank you very much. Having a page with the bigger author window on top (or at the bottom of the page) and the ability to write text underneath would be awesome.
