Rather than deleting or overwriting my current version theme would there be any issues with unpacking the theme locally, making the following changes and uploading as a new theme?
Updating style.css to include the version number in the theme name:
/* Theme Name: Iconic One Pro 1.8.9 Theme URI: http://themonic.com/iconic-one-pro/ Author: Themonic Author URI: http://themonic.com/ ...Renaming the theme directory by appending the version such as iconic-one-pro-189
Uploading as a new theme?
On my development server I have not seen any issues yet, but I wanted to ask here.
