    hi,

    how to change the navigation text color? which CSS selector do I need to use?

    I tried, it only change the menu text when on hover OR on active status. how do I change the original menu text color? as well as the size?

    Thanks, it works!
    another question regarding this custom.css. If I upgrade the theme later, will the style sheet in custom.css be overwritten? or do you think the safest way is to put the customized css code in child theme?

    Yes, custom.css too will be overwritten, before upgrading the content of the custom.css and any modified file must be backed up.
